This place is awesome, visited ft Lauderdale last weekend and tried this place on Saturday and had to go again on Sunday. Friendly staff, amazing service, and terrific food. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast, and loved everything about the place. The people were friendly as could be, the food came out fast, and the prices were cheap. Was it the best breakfast ever? No, but it hit the spot, and the whole experience couldn't have been better. If we lived in the area, we would totally become regulars.

This diner is NOT a great deal. Plastic plates, over priced breakfast, crampy tables and counter, small portions, often over crowded and a $1.85 cent charge for coffee on the weekends. I spent $9.40 cents for two scrambled eggs, sausage potatoes and toast. With tip $11.00 ! Two eggs means two eggs and no more than that. Staff is friendly, place is clean, parking lot always full but not sure why! Why would a diner want to serve people with plastic plates that have deep scratches on them from wear and tear? Health code violation?!. My fourth time there for breakfast, went back to ask about coffee charge? They have a weekend menu that doesn't have coffee included on bottom of menu. They also have a lunch menu for breakfast with higher charges for breakfast after 11. Dumpy exterior, old interior, sorry guys I'm not buying the old Diner routine here. Haven't tried anything but breakfast, might go back to try dinner or lunch item. Will absolutely not go back for weekend breakfast. Coffee was awful, waitress gave me one in to go cup after my complaint!

Short review because a long one isn't needed. It's a straight up diner. Good Americana food at reasonable prices served by nice folks.

My "go to" breakfast spot. Consistently good food at a good price. They been around 20+ years for a reason. The owner is always here and runs a tight ship.

Made this a weekly stop and they still surprise me every time I go. The salads are huge and fresh and if you want something different the staff does not hesitate to accommodate. Can't say enough good things about this place - try it and you'll become a regular.

I love it here. It's homey. Is it the best food ever? No. Is it great diner food? Heck yeah! Sausage gravy is yummy and can be requested on everything. Free of charge, lol. If there's a wait, just line up on the bench outside. They'll call u in. They're very friendly in the greasy spoon sort of way. The owner is great! She is around for dinners on Thursday and Friday. The dinners are really good-best mac and cheese anywhere. Seriously! Great value!

Saturday 9AM breakfast. Service was brilliant, lively, engaging and cordial. Food was typical diner fare. Never had to ask for more coffee! I will return! Very gay.

Had breakfast here on the high recommendation of a couple of friends. Everything was above-average, but nothing special. Friendly service and, obviously, very popular with a diverse crowd. Maybe I've been going to Michael's Cafe too long...??? They've spoiled me silly when it comes to breakfasts...! Andrew's is definitely a fine establishment worthy of a 3-1/2 star rating.

I went to Andrews today on the suggestion of a friend. I got my menu and thought eh not too exciting. Then I got my food! Holy cow was it good. I had the Swiss omelet with mushrooms and bacon and a biscuit with a side of gravy. All I kept thinking is I can never come back here because I couldn't stop eating! What a little gem. The service was great. This is definitely a place where everyone knows your name.

I am an ex-New Yorker from 'The Five Towns'. The Andrews Diner reminds me of some of the best coffee shops/diners that dot Manhattan and Long Island. The service is fast and efficient. The staff takes the time to get to know your name and remember it and it is clean, (including the bathrooms). Since moving to South Florida 10 years ago, I have finally found a diner that has food that is New York quality. (I have tried many diners all over South Florida and 99.9% of those are mediocre at best). The breakfast fare is scrumptious and they make omelets that would satisfy the gods on Mount Olympus. The Big Angelo burger is a burger lovers dream, as are the others. They are opened for dinner on Thursdays and Fridays, where for the first time since moving here I have found dishes made correctly and not a poor imitation of the original. The Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francaise, for example, are some of the best I have had anywhere in the country.

Delicious, reasonably priced, and comfortable. Met up with an old friend in town who had eaten there before and enjoyed it. I ordered a feta and spinach omelet, home fries, and an everything bagel with butter on the side. ~$7 total. The omelet was fantastic. They use 3 eggs with plenty of the feta and spinach, and it's rolled up so that's it's almost as high as it is wide. Rich flavor and hearty texture. When it comes to home fries, I prefer peppers and onions cooked in with them, but these, even without those ingredients were very tasty with just the right amount of crispness. In addition to the omelet and potatoes, you choose a bread, and I chose the bagel (which is 25 cents extra). Standard diner bagel, but considering the crap that gets passed around as bagels outside of the Northeast, this was definitely acceptable with the omelet. Waitress was very attentive in refilling our glasses with water and coffee and was overall very pleasant throughout the time we were there. Overall, the place gave me a comfortable upstate NY - central PA feel. I'll definitely visit again!

I love this place. It is a family run business that shows the pride of ownership. The pea soup is excellent as is the CRISPY bacon and Fried homefries for breakfast. My partners swears by the egg salad sandwich and the soup as well.Employees are great and attentive as well.I think they have the best breakfast sans decor and booze.

Had an iced tea and the tuna melt!! Best Tuna Melt ever!! Rye bread, perfectly toasted, buttery and crunchy, creamy and balanced tuna salad with melted American cheese. For real the best tuna melt ever!!! Served with delicious coleslaw and super hot French fries!! He ordered the brisket sandwich, not a crum left! Great diner, can't wait to return! Next time...PIE!

Let me break it down about Andrews diner. If you're looking for great food at unbelievable prices, this is the place for you. I recently moved to the area and have frequented this place over 20 times. It seems no matter what I order it is always tasty, a great price and delivered with stellar service. The staff is always warm and welcoming. My server, Tim, is always quick and on top of his game and always smiling. Now I request to sit with him whenever I go! They have daily specials as well as an expansive menu featuring all great things from American comfort food to full course dinners. I try something new every time I come and have not been disappointed yet! I will continue to come to Andrews diner just for the fact that the prices are great, the staff is unbelievable and the location is amazing. A few of my favorites include the Marla burger, all breakfast items, all the different and delicious daily soups and the homemade stuffed cabbage.

Small old fashioned diner where the food is homemade and the prices are cheap. Egg salad was delish. Unfortunately, they don't have vegan options that I could find. Why no veggie burger?

  • Rich M.

Was in the area and decided to try Andrews based on a lot of positive Yelp reviews....boy am I glad I did! This is exactly what I was looking for, a diner like you would find in NY/NJ (in a good way). I tried the blueberry pancakes (ton of blueberries) and my daughter had a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. She ate the whole thing and gave it an 8 out of 10 (you should know that she is somewhat of an expert in egg sandwiches). The table next to me had 4 different types of omelets, they all looked good and they all gave a thumbs up. If you are in the area and are looking for great diner food (nothing fancy), then definitely stop in and give it a try!

From the majority of reviews and its good patron following I can see that most think there is something special about Andrews Diner, but I don't. It's nothing but a diner with very ordinary, mostly sub-par diner food flavor having a taste about it barely better than found in your average truck stop. The menu is complete, but ordinary, with nothing I could find setting apart from any other run of the mill average diner. However, on the good side, the portions are big, the wait staff super friendly and the prices cheap. I've gone here a number of times and can attest that it has a big following, and as a matter of fact, often times a waiting line just to get into the place, That in itself must attest to something but whatever that something might be it certainly doesn't pertain to the quality of the food. During my most recent visit I had the clam chowder soup, Manhattan style, which one could easily tell was done in house. The clams were plentiful but the base of the soup watery and flavorless. I also had the dilled chicken salad sandwich. It contained good sized hunks of chicken but again bland and tasteless. I also tried their eggs, sausage and potato; all very diner ordinary with the exception of the sausage being the saltiest I've ever come across. As a matter of fact it was so salty neither myself nor my dining companion cared to eat it. Food wise I can't go more than two stars, but I do have to say that the friendliness of the staff and the generally friendliness of the customers and patrons brings it up a good notch. However, I'm primarily rating food. So, for me, two stars only.

Really good diner!!! Fast & efficient, yummy food!!! Omlette was not a disappointment!!! Sooo good! It is quickly becoming my favorite breakfast spot. Wish they were open for dinner more than just two days a week.....

Could it be that the best diner in the world not be off a parkway exit in New Jersey? I dare say--Andrew's might just be the best. The owners and staff are cast out of an episode of Seinfeld. Anything for breakfast is perfect: hollandaise sauce, bacon, omelets, pancakes--you name it. So many good choices for lunch and the nights they have dinner. Try the cold salmon on salad or the salsbury steak.

My fiancée and I were having breakfast one morning and looking over a wedding magazine. The owner came over to our table and yelled at us for reading at the table while other patrons were waiting to be seated. It was very rude! If he would have asked us nicely no problem, but he treated us poorly and like we were doing something wrong for looking at a magazine. Will never go here again! Food isn't anything special either and the bathroom is dirty.

One thing I love about Fort Lauderdale is going into different businesses where i feel totally comfortable being gay. This is definitely one of those places. Known as one of the gayest Diners in South Florida I've been going to this place on occasion when I'm in the mood for Diner food and when I can catch them open. The place looks like it could use a little renovation. The food well it's Diner food done well. If your craving that Diner burger with a side of fries or a good Diner breakfast with a side of Hash browns and a great gay friendly staff this is the place to go. The only thing strange about this Diner are their hours of operation. On certain days they are only open until 3pm and they are not open 7 days a week. So check to make sure they are open before you go.

I knew that this was going to be a good place to eat before we even sat down. There were five waitresses/waiters to service a very small diner which meant a lot of customers. My partner who is allergic to eggs ordered a vegetable egg free omelet not on the menu and it was huge and delicious...service was great and prices reasonable...we are definitely going back soon.

The owners wife is bat sh*t crazy. Went to have dinner there with brother & my 95 y/o mother. I have eaten breakfast almost daily there for several years. Evidently the owners wife was ripe for a full scale fight. She insisted that my mother sit on the outside of the booth. Mom says no, brother says mom sits where she wants. Owners wife trips out, yells "get the hell out!" Followed by more yelling. I turn around & walk to the door and tell the wife she needs a mental health exam. Her response "get you and your f'ing (she said the actual word) 13 inch dick out of here!" With MY 95 y/o MOTHER standing right there! I held the door open & she went into a fit screaming trying to pull the door closed that I was holding open so mom & her walker could exit the restaurant. The owners wife is nothing more than white trash. I don't care what she said to me, but to brutalize a 95 y/o women is beyond the pale! Never eat there!

My sister and I both ordered the Andrews 2-2-2. It comes with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 sausages. It was less than $7 for each. Absolutely delicious. Each plate serves a good amount and the corned beef hash here was cooked perfectly. The servers here are very friendly and attentive. In general, this is a place I would go to again if I'm around the area.

I would give 2 stars for the food if I could rate it separately, but I give 1 star for the overall experience because of the way we were treated. The food was OK dinner food. The portion sizes were fair and prices were reasonable. The flavor was probably below average when compared with other diners. We had a party of 11, and I realize that it is a small diner and they put multiple tables together to accommodate us. They put our order in in 2 installments, which I understand because they probably aren't used to pushing that size of an order through the kitchen. I got my food well after everyone else, which I was fine with because they were delivering the plates hot. By the time I got my food, half the people in my group were finished with their food. The only reason I mentioned that is because of how we were treated at that point. I'm a pretty quick eater and gave away some of my food so I was done eating much quicker than the average patron. Before I finished eatingthe owner's wife cane up to our party and asked us to pay and leave if we were done. At that point I felt like I had never been so rudely asked to leave from any restaurant, but that was only the beginning. I hurried and finished my food and we proceeded to pay, with the intent of avoiding further incident. While we were waiting to pay the wife, yet again, rudely asked us to leave if we weren't waiting to pay. My sister chimed in and said that we were all waiting to pay. The wife then said she didn't see a ticket. My sister responded that we didn't get separate tickets. The wide said, "well did you ask for separate tickets? " I replied that we didn't get a chance to ask because we were rudely asked to leave before we were done eating. She asked who did, then I told her it was her. At this point it began to look like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. She started telling us and telling us that she sleeps with the owner, and then kept asking us to leave but insisting that we wait for their payment processing to pay. I'm a calm, polite, respectful person and have never been treated like that. She was delusional and flat out rude. I have no idea how they have regulars.

Post cruise breakfast with the family before we start our 10 hr drive home to Atlanta. Good food and good service! Definitely would stop back when we're in town!! The corned beef hash, home fries, eggs, and English muffin was excellent!! Just like I had growing up (upstate NY). We could definitely taste the difference in the OJ (freshly squeezed can't be beat)!! Everything was excellent!

Found this place on yelp during our recent trip to Ft. Lauderdale. What a great breakfast spot! Just like the other reviews say..... super friendly service and good 'diner' food served up HOT!! omelet and Pancakes were delicious and our server couldn't have been friendlier! Loved the retro place mats as well. Great prices too!

This is what NYC is missing. A good diner with FOOD that is made right there. The proud Greek owner brings his mini-schnauzer to the restaurant in the late afternoon where steady patrons choose to dine with him. The location has parking and the ambiance is classic. The tables and car lot are filled from opening to closing. The streams of people represent the best parts of Wilton Manors. Casual..friendly ..waitstaff with pens in their hair. If I came back 2 more times, they would know what I drink and can probably guess my order.

Fave FLL Lunch spot. The soups, which change daily are scratch made. The salads are great, personally I love the blackened chicken Caesar. The sandwiches are delicious try the chicken salad sandwich. They have rye and pumpernickel bread in addition to the usual. Fresh brewed Lipton iced tea. Staff is very friendly.

service was not very good. they did not seem too happy to seat a party of one, waitress came back to the table 2x, once to ask if I wanted more coffee(which she never brought) and the second time to take my plate to rush me out. no wifi. I wont be back and its the first time that I left less than a 50% tip at a diner. since most diners a cheap I feel bad and always leave a big tip because the wait staff works so hard

Andrews Diner is a great spot for a tasty Sunday morning breakfast. The service is exceptionally fast and I usually have my meal within 5-10 minutes after placing my order. They are also prompt to fill and refill coffee and water. My favorite is the grilled biscuits that come with the two egg breakfast. You have a choice of toast or biscuits. For no extra charge they will grill the biscuits to perfection! They will also add a bit of their delicious gracy to your hashbrowns if you like them that way. This is my favorite breakfast spot for a quick diner-style breakfast in all of Fort Lauderdale!

A warm, friendly and clean old school diner with great food. My wife and I had our pre flight breakfast here before flying home after a long weekend on the beach. Our waitress Kimberly was kind, friendly and attentive. She was helpful with menu selections and came by for a "warm up" often. I love this diner and will come back for breakfast and other meals again when we are back for another beach weekend. The biscuits and gravy were something special and the eggs and breakfast meats spot on in every way with a nice side of home fries. Can't beat this place , love on every plate!

This was the best breakfast I had in 10 years. Our waitress, Kimberly greeted us warmly and suggested that we have the grilled biscuit with a side of gravy. They were so good!!! I had an egg white omelet and it was really good. There are a bunch of terrible places to eat breakfast- this place was awesome and I am totally going back when I return to Florida. Biscuits are a personal favorite of mine and theirs were really good. Add a 70's soft rock soundtrack, and this girl is a happy camper all around.

I'm sorry but this has to have been the worst sausage gravy and biscuits I have ever had. Biscuits were so dry it was like they just crumbled them up on the plate and put this gravy on top. Their gravy had such little sausage in it it tasted like plain flour and water. The waitress never came back to see if the food was ok and the owner on the cash register and never asked. I guess they both know how bad it is and didn't really want to know. I used to come here quite often but never again

I don't know how I could have lived in the Fort Lauderdale area for so long and not stopped in until recently. Oh wait, I know why. I haven't stopped in sooner due to the fact that they are closed so early in the day and I don't usually make it out of my self-imposed prison to go farther than Starbucks until after Andrew's is closed. I must admit, the ambiance is nothing special. In fact, my first impression was that it was rather like a dive; but the next thing that I noticed was just how clean everything was. Normally I find specks of food hear and there or under the items on the table; but here I found nothing. The floors and the restrooms were impeccable in terms of cleanliness. This great attention to the hygiene of the building washed away any concerns I may have had about the age of the establishment. Everything that is served at Andrew's is homemade on premises. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. I have found some things that I am not too fond of, like the pot roast -- it was just too dry and unseasoned for my taste. There are so many other things on the menu that I have found that I truly do love. I love the split pea and tomato orzo soups. I love that I get eggs the way order them every time and that if I order the bacon soft it will come soft. I love the flavor of the chopped steak (medium rare) with onions (well done). I would suggest that anyone looking for a good diner, with friendly servers and great service at a good price should come to Andrew's. It is definitely one of the best diners in the area.

We are NJ people on vacation on our way from cape Canaveral to key west we checked yelp for a mid way lunch spot & saw Andrews diner. It was a great experience greeted by the owner & whisked to a nice corner booth every table past people were happy enjoying wonderful looking food. Our waiter greeted us right away & got drink orders from us. Te menu is varied diner food from breakfast to lunch platters. My hubby had a turkey club, my father in law an Andrew burger & I the spinach pie n Greek salad the portions were perfect & everything tasted great pie was hot crispy savory inside. The burger was huge smothered in grilled onions & cheese If these guys ever want to open another place I hope it's in NJ BY US!

I visit Andrews Diner every time I visit Fort Lauderdale. The food is solid if not spectacular diner food. Breakfast is served all day with big portions. The staff are fast and efficient. The star of the restaurant, however, is Geri, the female owner. She runs a tight ship with a long list of rules for diners. If you like a sassy, local tradition, check out Andrews Diner.

Andrews Diner is our favorite spot for breakfast in the Wilton Manors area. The food is awesome, service is great, and the price is right! I frequently check health inspection reports and this place always gets great reviews unlike some other popular breakfast eateries in our area. Try the grilled biscuit. It's an added treat to your meal alongside an order of sausage gravy. Yum!

We have been coming to Jerry's (I know it's called Andrew's, but not to us) since i was a child. The food is outstanding and always made fresh. The atmosphere is like being at home with wacky family members, but family who love you anyway. I've had damn near almost everything on the menu and everything rocks! My mom is crazy about the limited lasagna - that's what she always wants. Yum!

This diner is in the heart of Wilton Manors. It is not a standout location. The owners and staff were very pleasant and eager to make it a pleasant dining experience. The dining room somehow imparts such a warm feeling that I can tell that is the main reason it remains in business after 21 years. Two people for lunch: BBQ burger, meatloaf and chocolate cream pie was our order. I tasted the chipped barbecue it was very good. I had meatloaf that was fortified with an ample amount of filler. The gravy was bland. This is the only establishment I have ever been in that I suspected the Winchestershire sauce was watered down. Also there is no Tabasco. Potato salad was flavorless and otherwise awful. The one high point of my meal were pickled beets. These were nicely colored, plump, spicy and tangy. They may have come from a bottle, but that's fine. They were especially to my liking. Would I return? Possibly, but only if I could have a large helping of their pickled beets. As I said earlier the waitresses, cashier and all staff with which we interacted were wonderful people who it seemed liked their jobs. That is enough reason to visit the place at least once again.

Average good diner. The food is good but basic. American classic style food. Nothing fancy but good portions. Great for a casual good meal. Prices are a little high but at least the staff gets a few weeks off every summer.

Woke up hungry this morning and after consulting Yelp to see whose got the best breakfast in Fort Lauderdale, my boyfriend and I decided to check it out! Was seated instantly, drinks and food came out quick, service was as good as it gets in a diner. Got some eggs and hash browns, boyfriend got the french toast. All of it hot and delicious! Any place that can make a perfect egg over medium is cool in my book. Great food for the price. While the interior lacked a little in ambiance, I have to remind myself that this is a diner! Everything was clean and the "salt and pepper shakers aren't greasy and grimy" like the old man in a booth next to us kindly pointed out. So, Andrews Diner gets 5 stars. Can't think of one thing I would have changed! I will definitely be going back.

My friend said to e you ave to try this pace for lunch. Well he was right. I find the specials the best for your money. The soup is prepared each day and the turkey with the gravy and stuffing mash potatoes just prepared as if it was thanksgiving. Owner is a character out of Saturday night live but well worth the wait for lunch. Tried this pace 4 times and each time consistent .

Went there today with my husband and we were thoroughly impressed. Coffee was damn good for diner coffee, our order came out super quick, and it was reasonably priced. My favorite part of breakfast was the pancakes, hands-down. I can rarely finish a whole plate of pancakes by myself (since I usually order them on the side of other things, like an omelet), but I couldn't stop eating these bad boys. They're so good, they don't even need syrup. I cleaned my plate. The only part of my meal that I didn't like was my eggs (scrambled with cheddar). They came out kind of rubbery. Maybe I should just stop ordering them though lol. Oh, and the pepper in the shaker on the table is really coarsely-ground, so beware. Other than the above minor complaints, I was very satisfied with my experience. We're new to the area, so we will definitely be back. I'm already looking forward to more pancakes.

For years this has always been my "go to" restaurant, whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner (open for dinner on thursday and friday night only). The food is consistently great (never had a bad meal there) and the owners and staff always make me feel right at home. You see the pride that goes into everything they do, from what they serve to how they do it, and you leave ultra satisfied. A true Fort Lauderdale classic.

For a diner this gets 4 stars!! The is some of the best food around. I wish some of the local restaurants would take a page from this place. You get great eats and huge portions. I would give this place 5 stars if they had better hours.

We go on a regular and never have been disappointed. I love the chicken parmigiana with macaroni and cheese. Breakfast items are great. Angelo, Jerri, Becky, Erin, Danny, Michelle, Julia and the rest of the crew are really great also. They always make you feel at home and the service is fast. This is the only place we frequent on a regular. Andrew's is a great place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This was the worst breakfast place I have ever been. It was really crowded which is usually a good sign, but not in this case. I had a mushroom omelet and it was overcooked and filled with canned mushrooms! (yuck) It also had no cheese which was a bit of a surprise. My boyfriend had the pancakes and thought they were mediocre at best. I could have made a better breakfast at home. I don't think we will be going back.

For what I am looking for, Andrews is great. I like diner breakfasts and this place exceeds my needs. The wait staff is great....very friendly and efficient.. If your server isn't available another will help you. The food is good.. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Anyone who thinks this depressing place is like "New York" has never been to New York. The staff is surly and lazy and the owner that checked on us was defensive when we complained about the hash browns, which were terrible. Skip it and go straight to the Floridian, where we went the next day and had a blast.

We live right down Andrews Ave from here... I kick myself for not stopping in sooner! I've had everything from an Italian dish, to a Greek platter, to a homestyle comfort-food dinner plate with a slice of pie, and I haven't had a bad dish yet! Hats off to the cooks and an equally stellar waitstaff...and who can leave out the ever-present, ever-friendly owner and his lovely wife... a hidden gem!

Andrews Diner, next door to Joshua Tree, is on the east side of North Andrews Avenue in Wilton Manors (just south of Oakland Park Blvd.). Andrews is a fantastic choice for breakfast! Lunch choices are "ok" and include sandwiches, soups, meats, and Italian choices, to name a few. Their service is usually fast and friendly and the breakfast food is hot and tasty with an almost "southern drawl" . Owned by Angelo and his wife Jerri, it's a great neighborhood stop. HINT: It's first come-first served there: Simply sit down on the long red bench out front and shift down as patrons go in. Even when there's a long line, the line goes fast because the owner will ask you to leave when you're finished eating. At first glance, this may offend some, but it sure helps when you're waiting to get a seat !! Food: A- Price: A ( a decent value for the quality ) Service: A (usually fast, friendly, and efficient) Atmosphere: A (it's like a NY Diner, and that's about all - but clean and comfortable) Front End: A ( quick check-out ) Location: A (2.5 miles from downtown Ft. Lauderdale) Valet parking: NA (on premises parking) Overall: A-

Andrews Diner : After moving back to Fort Lauderdale after 8 years in Atlanta I wonder how I spent 26 years in Florida and never made it here. Breakfast is always great, service. I would also say Thursday and Friday is worth the atop for dinner. Angelo is always willing to make you feel welcome and after a few short visits you feel like you have been coming here forever. My favorite part is when you are seated he takes your drink order then just randomly yells out in the hopes of someone getting those drinks, which they always do. Finally the Chocolate Creme Pie is by far the best in the city, I brought one this year to Thanksgiving and everyone asked where it came from. So dont walk run to this little gem

Imagine Seinfeld had a reunion show and they were all 65 and living in Florida. They would be at the Andrews Diner. I was on tour and needed a non-Shoneys food experience. The Andrews Diner came highly recommended and did not disappoint. From the minute we came in, I had the feeling like I was back in New York. The owner/hostess was bursting with New York Charm. I was finishing a phone call and she shouted at me, "Get off the phone" with a twinkle in her eye. Its one of those things that either works or not. In her case, it works in spades. The staff is very friendly and the food is simple and sooooo good. We had burgers and the pea soup. We left so happy. I've actually been back since. I stop there anytime I am around. They have a line outside almost all the time. It moves pretty quickly. Food is served quickly and as long as you keep your cell phone off and follow the rules, which become pretty obvious pretty quickly, you are in for a dining experience that ranges from pleasant to outstanding and always entertaining. And their prices are extremely affordable. Come for the dinner, stay for the show. Just don't stay too long! But seriously, go and enjoy.

I've recently moved to Fort Lauderdale and have been going everywhere to find the best places. Base on the previous two reviews, I decided to try out Andrew's Diner. The service was average. The food was mediocre diner food. Ultimately, I had to give it only 1 star based on the atmosphere. It is incredibly depressing! It feels like you are eating in a huge pine coffin! Come on guys, how pathetic is the ambiance?

I love breakfast food - and one day on my way back from watching sunrise on the beach - some friends and I stopped in for breakfast - I had the 2-2-2 - DELICIOUS! Awesome pancakes - tasty and fluffy and hot off the griddle - eggs good - bacon could have been cooked more crispy - but the pancakes were the best that I have ever had
